Tamar Valley, Tasmania

Farmgate Festival

26-28 November, 2021

The Farmgate Festival weekend is a rare opportunity to visit the smaller farms located in the West Tamar Valley.  It is when farmers, producers and vineyard owners open their gates for the weekend encouraging locals and visitors to understand how the incredible produce of the West Tamar is grown.  Drive yourself or take advantage of the courtesy bus leaving regularly from the Festival Hub.  Make a day of it, or a weekend of it, by visiting several farms, taking their short tours, tasting their produce and then taking home your purchases – purchased straight from the farm gate. It’s a chance to go behind the scenes and meet the people who contribute to Tasmania’s great food story.

There is also an array of lunch and festival dinners to also consider (details released soon).

Ticket will be on sale closer to the date.  Please note all sales will be online in 2021 due to COVID19 restrictions

Expressions of Interest now open for new farms, stallholders, activities, workshops, entertainers, lunch and dinner venues.
